St. Cuthbert is a small municipality of 1,978 inhabitants located on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River, about 60 kilometers east of Montreal. The Municipality is among the largest agriculture area on the north shore of St. Lawrence. It extends from the river to the foot of the Laurentians through the plains and the plateau of St. Lawrence. Its historic district features a very interesting architectural heritage with many ancestral homes, a magnificent rectory, the church, a covent and a college. The area is ideal for cycling tours. A new bike path runs through the territory and a feeryboat allows the cyclists to access the fabulous natural area of the lac Saint-Pierre Islands.
